Someone I knew commissioned me to translate this, it was the only translation commission I've ever done, actually, as I don't have formal commissions (I have no idea the normal rates people charge, or anything).This hentai was actually extremely well done, so I didn't mind doing it despite the ship not being my favourite. I was worried it would be too loli, but I was glad to see it wasn't ... except apparently it is, so it got shoved into ExHentai only zone. I disagree, but that's beside the point.
My biggest decision on this was what name to use for the heroine. I usually stick to English names for Pokemon characters, as it's generally easier and plenty understood, but at the time very few people even knew the name Selene. Most called her Moon, but I didn't want to use that, so I stuck with Mizuki since that's what the original author used. Now I'd probably use Selene, but whatever. The only hero/heroine names that it's a bit weird to translate in hentai is Hilbert/Hilda because those are just.... such unsexy names.
